Training
Business Partners require a solid understanding of Telvent Miner & Miner's products and positioning to be effective. A certain level of training is required from each business partner depending on the software application being re-marketed and implemented. Representatives who attend the required training are entitled to receive Technical Support. All training is provided at TM&M's headquarters in Colorado, but may also be provided at a business partner or client site.
Working with ArcFM (Electric or Gas/Water) - This is a required five-day course and can be provided at Telvent Miner & Miner headquarters, or at a designated business partner or end-user site.
Configuring ArcFM Tools - This three-day database configuration course is required. Working with ArcFM or Accelerated ArcFM is a prerequisite.

Training is provided at a 25% discount to business partners and their internal staff. Business Partners are asked to provide their own computers for the training sessions. The purpose for having you bring your own computer is to ensure that you have the necessary technical requirements to adequately support ArcFM users. Consult the training link or the training department at education@miner.com for class configuration requirements.

Maintenance
Business partners are required to pay an annual maintenance fee for all internal license copies, development license copies, and end-user license copies, excluding the marketing license. Business partners who would like to provide the first line of support to the end-user must be adequately trained in the Telvent Miner & Miner software tools and must receive approval from Telvent Miner & Miner. This is a required annual maintenance fee in order to receive both software upgrades and general technical support/help desk. The general technical support program/help desk is to provide a vehicle for the business partner and end-users to report defects and errors in the software.
