The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to direct and implement our software solution for electric, gas, water and waste water utility clients. The ideal candidate will use his/her skills to define project requirements, manage the project budget, direct and participate in the accomplishment of project deliverables and manage the project scope and resources.
Responsibilities
The individual will oversee various projects of significant magnitude in terms of complexity, cost, time constraints, internal and external staffing and equipment. They will provide direction to project team, including assignment of individual responsibilities, tasks, and technical functions, identify needs and allocate appropriate resources to complete specific project tasks on time. They should continually monitor individual progress to ensure specific deadlines are met, perform technical project tasks, provide technical consulting to individual clients, and lead data design sessions to adapt off-the-shelf components to meet the specific requirements of our Users. Traveling domestically and internationally, about 20 to 40%, will be required.
Requirements
- A BS/MS degree in CS, Engineering or Geography (or related field with computer emphasis).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills as well as client relations experience.
- Project implementation experience in a utility environment.
- Extensive technical experience implementing or using ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcFM, or related components.
- Programming experience is a plus.
