Position Summary & Major Responsibilities
Telvent Miner & Miner has a career opportunity for a motivated person to join our Sales & Marketing team in our Ft. Collins, CO office. In coordination with the Chief Marketing Officer and other members of the Marketing & Sales team, this individual will facilitate communication and coordination with our enterprise GIS business partners, support marketing and business development activities related to the ArcFM Solution products and services, assist with implementation of strategic marketing objectives, and provide general marketing support for both the enterprise GIS market and the Telvent energy and real-time technology markets.
The Business Partner Manager will support the Chief Marketing Officer and assist with the following:
- Working to:
- expand ArcFM Solutions and services opportunities via BPs
- coordinate collateral, tradeshow, and sales information related to BPs
- qualify potential business partners
- engage complementary technology partners
- engage system integrators
- help manage implementation partners
- Working with the TM&M Marketing and Sales team on strategic marketing initiatives related to the enterprise GIS utility and SCADA/real-time IT industry.
Education, Experience & Requirements
- 5 years experience working in the utility or GIS community.
- 5 years experience in marketing or business development.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- A BS degree in Geography, Marketing, or Communications (or related field with computer emphasis).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills as well as client relations experience.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments effectively - proactive work style.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- PC skills - Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point, Internet search, Graphics.
- Experience implementing or using ESRI ArcGIS or related components is a plus.
- Secondary language skills a plus.
